Tenpin Ladies Circle joins BMBC
With the recent success of Bacolod Monday Bowlers Club’s (BMBC) 3rd Bacolod Open Tenpin Cup, the Tenpin Ladies Circle (TLC) was launch during the BMBC’s Monday Fun Game at Lopue’s East Bowling Center (LEBC), Villamonte in Bacolod City on Labor Day, May 1.
The eight pioneerning members of TLC bowlers were composed of Cheryl De Guzman, Janet Villarosa of JJ Tocino & Tapa, retiree Leah Corcelles, Lois Contaoi of Yelo’s Food Hub, Grace Diopenes, Angel Contreras from Illinois Chicago, Leah Galupo of Lea’s Garden, and Mariann Livioco of OML Leasing and Development. The launch was in line with BMBC’s objective to be the “gateway of all bowlers”, including duckpin bowling, regardless of skill level that you have.
This will be the first Ladies Division in tenpin whose intention is to give recognition and improve their skills in the bowling community of Bacolod just like former World Cup champions such as Bong Coo, Liza Del Rosario, Arianne Cerdeña and the latest was Krizziah Lyn Tabora-Macatula. Male bowlers usually dominates this sport.
After the launch, many lady bowlers signified their intention to join the circle to BMBC officers. For those interested to join this group, please visit LEBC on June 5 at 6:00PM.* (JGT with reports from BMBC)
