LGU DSB Paid P15-M Premium Arrearages and Interest to GSIS

The Local Government of Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB) has fully paid the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) its social insurance premium arrearages and interests covering the period July 1997 to December 2012 amounting to ₱15,213,588.43.

This was achieved through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between GSIS and LGU DSB executed on December 29, 2022.

Former OIC-Vice President for Visayas Operations Deity U. Manampan, current OIC-Vice President for Visayas Ireen I. Dimaano, and Bacolod Branch Office Manager Cecilia C. Tenaja turned over a Certificate of Full Payment to DSB Mayor Laurence Marxlen J. Dela Cruz, Municipal Treasurer Engr. Jose Maria T. Gecosala, Mr. Ariel B. Marapo, Sangunian Secretary and Agency ERF Handler/Payroll Officer/ Liaison Officer Erick John Celeste.

Also present were Leilani B. Mangabat, Division Chief of Billing Collection and Reconciliation Division; Melanie B. Balbuena, Staff Officer III; and Rhandale M. Alojado of Billing and Collection Unit (BCU).
