Overview of Philippine Golf Scene

The 1st Governor Bong Lacson teed off last April 22-23, 2023 at Bacolod Golf and Country Club, Binitin in Murcia. Present was Gov. Bong Lacson and Atty. Rayfrando Diaz.

Registration started 6 o’clock in the morning where gift items will be raffled off following Dinner of participants in the evening.

Champion of the event will be determined today, Sunday during the awards night at Panaad Organic Garden.

Olympian golfer Juvic Pagunsan, native of Murcia, was a product of Bacolod Golf And Country Club, Inc. and now represents the Philippines in the world stage who started from a humble beginning and learned as a junior caddy as young as 11 years old, later on was discovered to have the gift whereby sponsored to become a professional golfer and now plays on the Japan Golf Tour and the Asian Tour” as shared by Mr. Julius Susarno, a fellow golfer and childhood playmate. At age 44 he never seized to inspire young golfers not only in Negros Island but the whole Golfing world.*
