GSIS Bacolod supports Women’s Month

The Bacolod City branch of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) demonstrated its support to the 2023 National Women’s Month celebration through various activities.

Headed by Branch Manager Cecilia C. Tenaja, the GSIS Bacolod office featured a video presentation on women’s health issues, and its enployees joined a 5-kilometer walkathon at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon.

The 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration marks a juncture in the advancement of women’s rights as it launches a new theme from this year to 2028: “WE for gender equality and inclusive society.”

“This activity sparks and serves as a venue to highlight women’s achievements, empowerment and gender equality”, Branch Manager Tenaja stressed.
