2023 Cluster Meet Futbol Review

Department of Education (DepEd) Cluster Meet Football and Futsal event recently concluded last March 23, 2023 at Bacolod City National High School (BCNHS) Campus.

In Futsal Girls, University of St. La Salle-Integrated School (Area 8) scored 3 goals against BCNHS (Area 7) -1 to earn the spot for upcoming Palarong Panlalawigan on March 30, 2023. Meanwhile Association of Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Association, Inc. bowdown to BCNHS with scoreline 9-0 in the mid-sunny day condition while STI-West Negros University will battle on the next day for the U-15 Boys category.

The U-13 Boys 11-a-side will be represented by Sum-ag Elementary School (Area 7) after Trinity Christian School coceeded 2 goals in the first half and gave all effort in the 2nd half but failed to equalize ending the game 2-0. The DepEd has implemented a “winner takes all” format wherein no selection of players is applicable. This event is in preparation for the higher meet of Palarong Pambansa where all althlete and event will compete in the National Level Title.*
