PENRO kicks off Nat’l Women’s Month celebration
OIC-Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Joan Nathaniel F. Gerangaya recognized all women personnel of PENRO Negros Occidental and their significant contributions in the workplace and the community.
OPCEN Head Ma. Gina Gerangaya, on the other hand, discussed about the rationale of the activity in behalf of OIC-MSD Rosario Rostata, particularly on the salient reasons of the women’s celebration.
Hanging of streamer, unveiling of PENRO GAD activities and One Billion Rising Dance were featured simultaneously with the DENR 6 Regional, PENR and CENR offices.
This year’s theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” is both a positive affirmation and a call to action. It is a testament to the milestones achieved in closing gender gaps in the country and in gathering more support for the advocacy.* (MTRP)
