Tribu Tinambitres is Grand Champ
Tribu Tinambitres is the grand champion in the 49th Dinagsa Festival 2023 Street Dancing Competition!
It bested eight other contingent tribes and will take home P200,000 cash prize, trophy and 1 million worth of project.
Tribu Tinambitres, this year’s grand champion of the Street Dancing Competition, consists of Brgy. Tinampaan, Brgy. Mabini, and Brgy. Zone 3.
The tribe’s costume was designed with a variety of locally produced materials that reflects strength, courage, ethnicity and character of a true blooded Cadiznon.
It was conceptualized based on the choreographer’s artistic vision of a traditional ferocious warrior, Hangkilan, a remarkable character redefining the rich culture and history of the place. The design portrays the mood and theme of the local Ati-atihan festival version in honor of the feast of Sr. Sto. Niño de Cadiz.
The following tribes complete the Top 3:
1st runner-up (P150,000, trophy + 600k worth of project) – Tribu Hitalon
2nd runner-up (P100,00, trophy + 400k worth of project) – Tribu Bucadcad
3rd runner-up (P75,000 and trophy)- Tribu Sicablun Quatro
