Artists unite at full force, UNA spearheads
United Negros Artists (UNA) spearheads the largest collaboration of several artistic groups for the first time in Ayala Mall Capitol Central in Bacolod City, having an art exhibition running through January 20th to the 30th.
“UNA: The Prologue,” captures the goal to continuously invite artists from the city and Negros Occidental province. It leads way to enhance relationships of the artistic community and aims to expose more talents that embody a message of unique expressions, camaraderie, and enhance creatively artistic frequencies.
Charlie Co, a contemporary visual artist and co-founder of Orange Gallery, opened the reception of the 70 multi-talented artists participating in the event.
Such artists belong to various groups like the Pintor Kulapol, Prima Art Group, Feminine Touch, the Group of Negrense Artists (GONA), Terrapinta, the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros (AABN), and other independent artists.
Mike “Nyoy” Pillora, member to the legendary folk pinoy band ASIN led the intermission musical number along with AA-B artist Agustin Chavez.
Other functions during the exhibit include the “Watercolor Jam,” gathering artists to showcase their painting skills in watercolor, led by AABN head Edbon Sevilleno.
