Silver medal for Lady Ronins in Cebu Riff

CEBU CITY – It was the last minute low shot goal, against Lady Ronins fullback and Cher Danielle Vaflor’s, hopefully clean sheet goal-keeping, that sealed Cebu Urduja’s champion crown during the finals of 11th Sinulog Football Cup, Womens Open Category last January 22, 2023 at Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Artificial Turf.

Ronins dominated the Group C bracket, with a 2-0-1 standing, where Gloria Rafaella Salazar earned the Quarter Finals against USJR in a Sudden Death penalty shootout, 1-0 scoreline, later on creating a hat trick goal in the 10th minute of Semi Finals against SRFC, proudly showcasing a Negrense football style final match witnessed by the full-house, state of the art Cebu City Stadium.* (Ronins)
