Emergency Medical Personnel on Stop the Bleed Training
Another batch composed of emergency medical personnel and students had undergone the Stop the Bleed training course yesterday, January 21. Through this course, they were able to gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively.
The training was participated by Manapla Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office staff under the active leadership of Mayor Manuel M. Escalante III and spearheaded by Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer III Joseph John Cato, RN., Alijis Life Extender EMS personnel, nurses and students.
Stop the Bleed Trainer Ambassador Karlo Martin A. Gerasmo successfully led the course.
Free bleeding control training will continue until February as part of the educational and outreach activities of Détente Y Ayuda (DYA) Filipinas in support of the STOP THE BLEED program.
