Some good practices at Prov’l Capitol to be shared to City Hall
Some good practices of the Negros Occidental provincial government will be shared with the Bacolod City government.
Atty. Rayfrando Diaz II, Provincial Administrator, and concurrent consultant for administrative matters and systems review of the city government, met with Bacolod City Administrator Atty. Pacifico Maghari and Bacolod City Legal Office Atty. Romeo Carlos Ting in his office.
Diaz said it is not only the Capitol Cab and Interface of Capitol employees that will be shared to Bacolod.
“I will not give that easily to somebody. A system requires a good manager. So if I don’t trust the manager, I will not give this. Both the system and personnel have to fit each other. Because no matter how good the system if it falls on the wrong hand it will never work,” Diaz told newsmen.
“There is no problem that the province is willing to help and assist. But the right personnel for the job has to be trained,” he added.
Diaz pointed out that the province has developed systems through applications without much cost to the province.
“We have the control over the elements and features of the system. We can edit anytime and adjust depending on the needs to whatever we want to develop and incorporate. And we are willing to share this to any local government units and the city of Bacolod,” Diaz also added.
He said these systems include Capitol cab, personnel info system, procurement systems which are all digitized. “(Governor Bong Lacson) has already authorized us to share that,” Diaz added.* (CCG)
