Electric Masskara on Oct. 22 at Megaworld’s Upper East

Streetdance and arena competition on Oct. 23 at Paglaum Stadium

The Masskara streetdance and arena competition will be held the the Paglaum Stadium at the back of the Negros CyberCenter in Bacolod on October 23, the highlight of the Oct. 1 to 23 Masskara Festival 2022.

Festival Director, Atty. Pinky Mirano-Ocampo said this is to accommodate a large number of audience, the stadium being able to hold about 5,000 people.

Mirano-Ocampo said 17 groups will join the streetdance competition which will dance the beat of “Smile Again” song performed by Asia’s pop heartthrob Darren Espanto.

She also said that 13 groups will join the Electric MassKara Float and Dance Competition which will be held on October 22 at Megaworld’s Upper East. It will proceed to the Bacolod City Government Center.

The festival that will he held from October 1 to 23 will have six venues around Bacolod, she added.* (W/EYA, PNV)
