CENECO Donates Distribution Transformer; Recognized by PRC

A plaque of Silver Award, in grateful recognition for the Electric Cooperative’s donation for the establishment and operation of Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Negros Occidental Molecular Laboratory for the year 2020, was given to CENECO by PRC.

As part of its commitment to extend support to the organization that delivers essential services to the member-consumer-owners, specifically in offering a high level of reliability and accuracy for CoViD tests, CENECO installed one 37.5kVa distribution transformer with its accessories and service wires for the PRC Bacolod Chapter at 10th Lacson Street.

The project was made possible through the request of PRC Board of Director Roberto Montelibano and Chapter Administrator Rita Benita MIrasol, in coordination with CENECO Engineering Department Manager Jose Taniongon, and approval of the Board of Directors.

The award was received by Board President Jojit Yap, Acting General Manager Ervin Stan Leo Ticar, members of the board and management last August 16.
