SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 95 km Northwest of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro (13.0°N, 120.5°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the Western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA/Southwest Monsoon. Light to moderate winds coming from the Southwest to Southeast will prevail over Negros Island and slight to moderate coastal water conditions with an average height of 0.6 to 2.1 m.
