SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 185 km West Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes (21.2°N, 120.1°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Northern and Central Luzon.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon/localized thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds coming from the Southwest to South will prevail over Negros Island and slight to moderate coastal water conditions with an average height of 0.6 to 2.1 m.
