SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 180 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.3°N, 123.8°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon, and of Visayas.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon/LPA. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the South to Southwest will prevail over Negros Island and moderate to rough coastal water conditions with an average height of 1.2 to 2.8 m.
