Sagay residents say ‘thank you’ to media, water district

Residents of Purok Santol and neighboring areas in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, who earlier asked the help of the media in urging the Sagay Water District to act on their water supply problem, are thankful that their problem is already solved.

Dux Ventanilla and several other residents told NDB that their “last resort” to compel the water district to act immediately on their plight “really worked.”

“Since April, the supply of water through the district’s system became problematic. Water was only available at night and nothing from early morning until night time. We were all affected. Now the water district have addressed the problem. We already have water during the day,” Ventanilla said yesterday July 5.

“Salamat gid sa mga taga media, newspaper, radio kag social media nga nagbulig sa amon. May tubi na kami kun adlaw. Thanks also to the water district,” Ventanilla said.
