NGCP SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON SUNDAY, JUNE 12

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-Silay-Victorias 69kV transmission lines on June 12, Sunday.

CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime to conduct simultaneous maintenance activities.

Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: June 12, 2022 – Sunday
Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct installation of Submarine Cable Overload Protection Scheme (SCOPS) for Bacolod-Silay 69kV line at Bacolod Substation.
• CENECO will conduct:

2) Preventive maintenance servicing of the 20MVA Talisay Power Transformer and 10MVA Panaogao Power Transformer and to undertake the correction of hot spots in these power substations;
3) Preventive maintenance on distribution lines covered by Talisay Feeders 1 to 3 and Panaogao Feeders 1 to 2; and
