NGCP SETS 6AM TO 6PM POWER INTERRUPTION ON SUNDAY, JUNE 5

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will shut down its Bacolod-Reclamation and Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV transmission lines on June 5, Sunday, in connection with the ongoing Cebu-Negros-Panay 230kV Backbone Project (Stage 3, Phase 1).
CENECO shall take advantage of this downtime to conduct simultaneous maintenance activities.

Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: June 5, 2022 – Sunday
Time: 6am to 6pm

Reasons:
• NGCP will conduct continued replacement of remaining wood poles as part of the wood pole replacement program of NGCP, and correction of other transmission line defects;
• CENECO will conduct:
1) Preventive maintenance and servicing of 10MVA power transformer at Lag-asan Substation, Hda. Hilangban, Brgy. Lag-asan, Bago City and Sum-ag Substation, Brgy. Sum-ag, Bacolod City;
2) Correction and repair of hot spot at 69kV and 13.2kV side of Lag-asan and Sum-ag Substations;
3) Replacement of defective auto-recloser units of Hilangban Feeders (HF) 1 to 4 at Lag-asan Substation;
4) Line clearing covering Reclamation Feeder (RF) 1 to 5, ASDES-Gonzaga Feeders (AGF) 1 to 6, Sum-ag Feeders (SF) 1 and 2, and HF 1 to 4; and
5) Preventive maintenance of distribution lines covered by Hilangban and Sum-ag Substations and Alijis Feeder (AF) 6.
