CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON MAY 28 AND 29

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 28 (Saturday) and 29 (Sunday).

This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follows:

Date: May 28, 2022 – Saturday

Reasons:
• Installation of 72kV post insulators, removal of aerial ground of double circuit to give clearance for Bacolod-Bata 69kV transmission line; and
• Tree clearing activities.

Time: 6am to 10am

Reasons:
• Replacement of broken and rotten primary poles, installation of SF6 and disconnecting switch;
• Preventive maintenance and servicing of 30MVA power transformer at Murcia substation, Hda. Puyas, Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia;
• Transfer of XLPE power cable load side of circuit breaker number 4 to number 1, and correction/repair of hot spot;
• Replacement of rotten poles; and
• Tree clearing activities.

Time: 6am to 1pm

SF1 From Sum-ag Substation to Sum-ag Highway, whole of Pta. Taytay road including VMA, Sum–ag Highway to Medalla Elementary School near CEGASCO, Brgy. Pahanocoy, Pahanocoy Village (NHA Housing), road from Bangga Tomaro to Brgy. Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.

When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
