Mayors to be consulted on lifting of 11PM to 4AM curfew in NegOcc

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said today that he will consult with the mayors of Negros Occidental on plans to lift the 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew.

Lacson made the declaration after some businessmen opined that the government should already lift the current curfew imposed in the province, saying that cases of COVID-19 are down in the province.
Data from the Provincial Incident Management Team (IMT) indicates that there are only seven active cases as of May 21.

Asked if the imposition of the curfew in the province has helped bring down the COVID-19 cases, Lacson said “I believe every measure we took, contributed to where we are right now.”* (EYA)
