Ronins clinch football champion streak

In conjunction with Sketchy Horse Philippines and Samantha’s Steamboat Ayala Malls, the Ronins Women’s Football team dominated the Mayor Alonso Foot Festival Futsal Cup 2022 against FCP Pontevedra, 1-nil, on May 14 at Pontevedra Coliseum in Negros Occidental.

The footfest was participated by teams from Negros Oriental, Sta. Barbara in Iloilo, former Palarong Pambansa finalist Pontevedra Roster, Cadiz City champion lineup, and 17 other women’s team. The Ronins also won champion titles in Bayawan, Bantug, and Juans Gym in its recent outings.

Ronins will also see action in the coming Stingers Cup inaugural kick off on May 28-29,2022 at USLS Track and Oval where close to 195 teams to converge coming from Illigan, Cebu, Aklan, Barotac, Iloilo, Dumaguete and the Negros Island football Afficionados, whom will also honor Freddie “Nene” Lazarito in celebration of his Philippine Football Legacy.

Together with Lady Stingers Futsal Season 38, 39 and DLSU line up, Cher Danielle Vaflor (Goalkeeper), Princess Beth Caparida, Gloria Rafaella Salazar, Ayana Alon, Christy Logastua, Jeena Mae Carpentero, Karen Mae Alora, Tenelyn Otom, Maxene Silverio and Maian Asher Zolayvar are mentored by Coach Raymond Abindan and Rene Jiffrey Lomugdang powered by Gardenville United Football Club, Inc. est. 2007, mahoganydrug.com, Binance and Manville Royale Town and Country Club.*
