PARISH CHURCH LAUDED

Hinigaranons are praising the Sta. Maria Magdalena Parish in Hinigaran town in southern Negros Occidental, under Rev. Fr. Danilo Cenal, for allowing candidates in the May 9 election, especially those running for various positions in the town, to post their campaign tarps infront of the church. Residents who were at the plaza across the church Tuesday morning also told NDB that they are expecting the parish to organize or host a forum wherein all candidates for municipal mayor and vice mayor will be given a chance to present their platforms before the public.* (NDB photos)
