Face-to-face classes in 7 Bacolod schools suspended

The Bacolod City Schools Division of the Department of Education has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in seven schools today as three weather disturbances continue to bring moderate to heavy rains.

The suspension order was issued by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent/ASDS OIC Reynaldo Gico in coordination with the Office of Mayor Evelio Leonardia through Dr. Anna Maria Laarni Pornan, head of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Covered by Gico’s directive are University of St. La Salle, Alangilan National High School (Alangilan Senior High School and Farm School), Apolinario Mabini Elementary School, Andres Bonifacio ES II, Education and Training Center School III, A. Arceo ES and R. Alunan ES.
