Next Gen Hoops 4 Youth all set tomorrow

The long wait to play basketball in Bacolod City is over.

Next Gen Hoops 4 Youth is set to bring back age-group basketball tournament in the 25-Under Men’s category or born 1996 up for the Region 6 Eliminations starting tomorrow, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 to be played simultaneously in seven different gymnasiums and covered courts in this city.

The playing venues are as follows: Juan’s Gym, NOTF Gym, Sum-ag Gym, Pahanocoy Gym, Eroreco Subdivision Basketball Covered Court, Brgy. Estefania Covered Court, and VMA Gym.

Sixty teams will join this tournament coming from UNO-R, USLS, Brgy. Mansilingan, Brgy. Estefania, Brgy. Alijis, Brgy. Sum-ag, Talisay City, Sipalay City, Escalante City, Bago City, Sagay City, and Cadiz City including a team in Iloilo with coach Butchie Guzman Iloilo Selection, to name a few.

These teams will be assigned of their respective brackets and the top finishers will enter the playoff games on April 23.

The top three winners will represent Western Visayas in Cebu City on May 3, 2022 to square off against the top squads in Central Visayas, according to regional director Mark Belangel.* (JGT)
