Cops release list of most wanted ‘rebels’
The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) has released the current list of most wanted persons and members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) to seek the community’s help to arrest them through the DILG-DND Joint Order of Reward (JOR).
Police Colonel Jason L. Capoy, Chief, Regional Intelligence Division, PRO6 named 18 persons under the Local Terrorist Group (LTG) personalities with numerous warrants of arrest for different criminal charges, among which are multiple murder, kidnapping, serious illegal detention, kidnapping with ransom, and arson, among others.
Also, 18 most wanted Communist Terrorist Group members were also named.
Both LTG and CTG’s under the list are with corresponding monetary reward for their immediate capture.
Information on the whereabouts of the CTG’s can be reported through mobile number 0917-8475757 and to PNP Text 2286.
In this relation, the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) has been working double time to undertake initiatives to bring development to insurgency-cleared areas in the country.
A total of 1,406 insurgency-cleared villages nationwide are expected to benefit from the NTF-ELCAC Barangay Development Program in 2022 and are set to receive 20 million pesos each to fund their anti-insurgency projects.
The CPP-NPA has been listed as a terror organization by the Philippines, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.* (Ritzy Robles-Malo-oy)
