NHA Talisay City housing package open to civil servants, OFWs

After a successful rollout of the National Housing Authority housing project at Brgy. Sum-ag in Bacolod City, another house and lot package is being offered to government employees located at Brgy. Dos Hermanas in Talisay City.* **(PIA Negros Occ.)**

The National Housing Authority opens another house and lot package at Vista Alegre Homes in Brgy. Dos Hermanas, Talisay City for all regular government employees and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).

Officer-in-Charge Engr. Liezl Miquit of NHA Negros Occidental District Office said the two-storey duplex type house has two bedrooms, one toilet and bath, a living room, dining and kitchen and an open area for the garage.

It has a 60-square meter floor area on an 80-square meter lot with a selling price of P1,528,400, she added.

For the first five years, the monthly amortization is only P5,000 through NHA in-house financing and has no down payment required.

Qualified applicants are regular government employees or OFWs who are Pag-IBIG members.

They should also have an updated account with the NHA if already an awardee and not more than 65 years old at the date of the maturity of the housing loan.

If an applicant is a retired government employee, he or she may avail of the housing benefit within one year from the date of retirement and shall pay in outright cash, she said.

To apply, interested parties may download the application form and other requirements from the NHA-Government Employees Housing Program (GEHP) website – genp.nha.gov.ph or through tinyurl.com/ Nhagehpreqs for government employees and tinyurl.com/Nhatbbreqs for OFWs.

Interested applicants are also advised to submit the notarized application forms and other documentary requirements to NHA Negros Occidental District Office located at Block 12, Lot 98 NHA Phase 2, Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.
