LGU Cauayan receives ‘Panata Ko Sa Bayan’ award
The Municipal Government of Cauayan in southern Negros Occidental under Mayor John Rey D. Tabujara and Vice Mayor Anna Liza T. Soriano got an award as one of the regional nominees for the PAGKILALA SA NATATANGING KONTRIBUSYON SA BAYAN (PANATA KO SA BAYAN) CY 2021 under the GAWAD SA PAGLILINGKOD SA SAMBAYANAN (GAPAS) Catergory on the LGU Implementing an Outstanding Sustainable Livelihood Program Microenterprise Development Model.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region VI acknowledged and recognized the LGU’s effort of which its PANATA or vow is to share the resources, time and selves in providing better opportunity for the disadvantaged sectors and inclusive growth for the Cauayanons.
The DSWD also commended the hard work and dedication bestowed in the implementation of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) under the leadership of Mayor Tabujara.
