Coast Guard has new new station commander in northern Negros Occ.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) station in Northern Negros Occidental has a new commander.

Effective February 5, 2022, Commander Joe Luviz Mercurio was designated as the new station commander of PCG Station in Northern Negros Occidental.

Mercurio replaced Captain Ludovico Librilla, who has been reassigned to the Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) in Iloilo City as deputy district commander.

Mercurio was assigned in the CGDWV in March of 2019, and was also previously the PCG station commander of Capiz, Iloilo, and Aklan.

Mercurio belongs to the Coast Guard Officer Course Class 02-2001, alongside Librilla.* (DGB)
