Sipalaynons thank Sue, Javi for aid

More than 2,000 residents of Barangay 5 in Sipalay City expressed their thanks and appreciation for the relief assistance recently facilitated by Sipalaynon Sue Ramirez together with boyfriend Javi Benitez of Victorias City.

The celebrity couple motored to Sipalay, among the most badly hit by Typhoon Odette, with Provincial Consultant Albee Benitez bringing rice and food packs, hygiene kits, and water. The provincial government also provided assistance to the relief assistance drive, as well as several private sector donors.

Sue and Javi personally led the distribution, interacted with the residents and helped ease the pain brought by their traumatic experiences and losses during the typhoon.

Former 6th District Representative Mercedes Alvarez-Lansang joined the aid distribution that was also assisted by the Sipalay Command Center, PNP and BFP personnel. All Barangay 5 officials and the Garina family of Sipalay helped coordinating the activity.*
