Release of cash assistance from city government for typhoon victims of Kabankalan started Dec. 30

The release of cash assistance for victims of Typhoon Odette in Kabankalan City was started December 30.

Those whose houses were totally damaged by the typhoon received P4,000 each while those who are partially damaged got P3,000.

This was the first batch of assistance that covered Brgys. 2, 7, 8 and Daan Banua.

The fast tracking of the release of the cash assistance (not from the national government but from the local funding) is in compliance of the aim of Mayor Pedro Zayco, Jr, Vice Mayor Raul Rivera and the City Council to help ease the suffering of their fellow Kabankalanons, a social media post from the city government states.* (Kabankalan City Information Office)
