Minors not allowed at Provincial Capitol Lagoon; Adults must show vaccination card prior to entry
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that the Provincial Capitol lagoon and park is closed to minors starting today.
He said the move will send a message to parents that minors must again stay home due to the fresh spike in Covid cases, although he admits it is a “very sad decision since kids enjoy at the lagoon”.
The governor said their safety and the vigilance against Covid are of utmost importance.
Lacson issued Executive Order No. 21-57 implementing new guidelines under Alert Level 2 for the park that opens 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. everyday.
Those 13 years old above with vaccination card will be allowed to enter.*
