Cauayan Gov’t sustains aid to Typhoon Odette victims
The Municipal Government of Cauayan is working non-stop to accommodate the needs of the victims of Typhoon Odette. Cauayan is among worst-hit towns.
To fast-track the distribution of relief goods and other assistance, the municipal government formed two validation teams – one for the southern part of the town and another for the north, to conduct assessment.
Victims who were left homeless or whose houses were destroyed as well as those whose houses were damaged are prioritized.
Mayor John Rey D. Tabujara & Municipal Vice Mayor Jing T. Soriano and the Sanguniang Bayan Members are also working round the clock, finding and reaching out for possible sources of food and water supply to aid the 25 barangays, with the help of the Philippine Army and the Philipine Coast Guard.* (LGU photos)
