Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary temporarily closed again
Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia in Negros Occidental is temporarily closed again, this time for clearing of debris caused by Typhoon Odette.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said the temporary closure is also due to big trees downed by the typhoon at the resort and wildlife sanctuary.
Although clearing operations are ongoing at the Negros Occidental provincial government-owned tourist attraction, it will take several days before it can be opened again for visitors.
The resort and wildlife sanctuary was reopened to the public last December 1 after more than a year of closure as it was utilized as a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.* (DGB)
