Curfew hours in Negros Occidental province to be shortened
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said today he and the mayors of various towns and cities in the province have agreed to retain the general curfew hours, although the time will be shortened.
Lacson said that the majority of the local chief executives would like to continue with the curfew hours, but the proposed new schedule will be from 12 midnight to 4 a.m.
Curfew hours in the province is currently from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The 12 midnight curfew, he said will cover adults. The minor’s curfew will begin at 10 p.m.
Lacson said he will release the executive order on the proposed curfew hours anytime this week.
Curfew hours in Bacolod City, meanwhile, is from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.* (DB)
