SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 70 km West of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental (9.2°N, 122.7°E). Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area was estimated based on all available data at 1,025 km East Northeast of Visayas (13.3°N, 134.7°E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA. Moderate to Strong winds coming from the Eastern section will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters are moderate to rough with an average height of 1.2 to 2.8m
