ANOLO BRIDGE WOES

More traffic management personnel are needed at the Tanolo Bridge in the boundary of Hinigaran and Binalbagan towns where the bridge expansion project is ongoing.

Precious minutes were again wasted this morning due to the lack of traffic men in the area. The only two assigned to manage the flow of traffic were again helpless against counter-flowing vehicles, causing standstill that extended up to about a kilometer on both southbound and northbound side of the highway.

The local governments of Hinigaran and Binalbagan, as well as the contractor, must complement the number of men to better manage the flow of vehicles not only at the bridge approaches but also way before the bridge.* (Arman P. Toga photos)
