CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON OCTOBER 27

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 27, Wednesday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: October 27, 2021 – Wednesday

Reasons:
• Reconductoring of five spans 1-phase bare conductor primary line into XLPE tree wire;
• Replacement of existing primary assemblies to accommodate the installation of XLPE tree wire;
• Replacement of two rotten 35ft. wood poles with two 35ft. concrete poles and its primary line assembly; and
• Tree clearing activities.

Time: 9am to 3pm

Areas Affected: BF3 (portion only) Prk. Proper Alangilan, Prk. 14 and Home for the Aged, Brgy. Alangilan, Bacolod City

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
