CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON OCTOBER 22
Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on October 22, Friday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:
Date: October 22, 2021 – Friday
Reasons:
• Replacement of one rotten 35ft. wood pole with one 35ft. concrete pole and its primary line assembly;
• Transfer of one 37.5kVa common distribution transformer (D.T.) and one 25kVa private-owned D.T. to newly-erected pole;
• Replacement of two rotten 30ft. wood poles with steel poles and reconductoring of two-span dilapidated open secondary lines for voltage improvement;
• Replacement of one rotten 35ft. wood pole with one 35ft. concrete pole which will be erected at the boundary lot and rerouting of primary and secondary lines to avoid traversing of wires; and
• Tree clearing activities.
Time: 9am to 3pm
Areas Affected: AF6 (portion only) Prk. Himaya, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
