SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “LANNIE” was estimated based on all available data at 575 km West Northwest of Coron, Palawan (13.7°N,115.2°E) with maximum winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Trough of TD / Localized Thunderstorms. Light to Moderate winds coming from the South to West will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters are slight to moderate with an average height of 0.6 to 2.5 m
