Moises Padilla Mayor turns over P15-M projects to barangays
A total of P15 million worth of infrastructure projects were turned over by Moises Padilla mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo to two barangays on September 29 & 30 in a ceremony held in Barangay Quintin Remo and Barangay Macagahay.
Along with the mayor were town councilors Joenes Frias, Cipriano Remo, and Dowen Michael Ogatis as well as DILG officer Lancer Philip Bauno.
Barangay Quintin Remo received the P6 million BonBon river overflow, the funds of which were sourced from municipal funds and the 90-meter Steel Hanging Footbridge connecting Sitio Lemoncito to Hacienda Jocson in Barangay Magallon Cadre amounting to P5 million funded by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Meanwhile, Barangay Macagahay village chief Francisco Necesito received the 300 linear meter concrete road at Sitio Banate which costs P4 million funded by both the DILG and the municipal government.
Also present in the activity was Moises Padilla PNP Chief Randy Babor, PNP and Philippine Army personnel, as well as the municipal employees.*
