Negative RT-PCR or Rapid Test result no longer required to enter Cebu Province
Those who wanted to enter the Province of Cebu will no longer be required to present negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or rapid antigen test results for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Required only is a medical certificate showing that the holder has no symptoms of Covid-19 from the point of origin. The certificate must be issued within 24 hours before arrival in Cebu.
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia issued a memorandum to this effect yesterday, Oct. 1, 2021, addressed to mayors, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) and to airline operators.*
