Mobile Health Clinic that gives free consultation, medical services like x-ray, ECG, lab tests and ultrasound launched

September 28, 2021

Senator Risa Hontiveros, with Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson, launched the Mobile Health Clinic Project at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Bacolod City, yesterday afternoon, Sept. 27, 2021.
Even before the formal launching yesterday, the mobile clinic project of Sen. Hontiveros was already serving Bacolodnons and Negrosanons in the barangays.
Gov. Lacson thanked Hontiveros for choosing the province as the first provincial partner of her project. The launching yesterday was for the entire Western Visayas, an aide of the senator told NDB.
The mobile clinic offers free consultation and medical services such as x-ray, ECG, laboratory, and ultrasound.
The governor said that the project is a necessary and timely intervention to the complex health care issues presently afflicting the country.
He also said that with hospitals operating at maximum capacity due to the surge of the COVID virus, the mobile clinics will be of great help in addressing the non-COVID health issues of Negrenses, thereby helping decongest hospitals and giving timely care to those having other health care concerns.
Among those present at the launching yesterday were Board Member Rita Gatuslao, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Himamaylan City Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao, Executive Assistant to the Governor, Marie June Castro.*
