SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Dumaran, Palawan (10.6°N, 119.7°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ/LPA. Light to moderate winds coming from the Southeast to Southwest will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters are slight to moderate with an average height of 0.6 to 2.1m
