“Your Army in Negros remains ready to serve our people in these challenging times. The availability of the vaccines is a welcome development and being vaccinated is an opportunity that allows us to carry out our duties of serving the people and securing the land especially the Negrenses. Our troops will make good use of this opportunity to confidently and carefully bestow our duties as we jointly seek an end to this pandemic,” BGen Inocencio Pasaporte said in a statement.

“The Army in Negros is grateful to the local government’s efforts especially the Province of Negros Occidental to have our military personnel be among the first to receive a Covid-19 vaccine,” he added.*
