Tropical Depression “ISANG” maintains its strength over the Philippine Sea East of extreme Northern Luzon.

Location of Center (4:00 AM): The center of Tropical Depression “ISANG” was estimated based on all available data at 1,110 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (18.8°N, 132.0°E)

Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the
center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h.

Present Movement: West northwestward at 20 km/h
No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal is currently in effect.


SYNOPSIS: Easterlies affecting the country. Meanwhile at 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “ISANG” was estimated based on all available data at 1,095 km East of Northern Luzon (18.7°N, 132.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 20 km/h.

FORECAST: Western Visayas including Negros Occidental and Bacolod City will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Easterlies. Light to moderate winds coming from the East to Southeast will prevail over Negros Island and the coastal waters are slight to moderate with an average height of 0.6 to 2.5m
