CENECO sets power interruptions on July 31, August 1

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on Saturday, July 31  and Sunday, August 1. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:

Date: July 31, 2021 – Saturday
Time: 8am to 4pm
Reasons:
• Conversion of existing C2 and C7 primary lines construction into C15 and modify dead-end alley arm assembly with its accessories to eliminate the hazard in the construction of Marina Subd. covered court

Areas Affected: HF3 (portion only) entire area of Marina Bay Subdivision

Date: August 1, 2021 – Sunday

Time: 8am to 5pm

Reasons:
• Conversion of 24-spans single-phase to three-phase primary line with its accessories and replacent of one 30ft. pole with 35ft. pole; and

• Installation of three 37.5kVa distribution transformers with its secondary metering and stringing of secondary drop
Areas Affected: HF3 (portion only) portiin of Brgy. Alianza, including Hda. Rufina to Prk. Kahirup
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
