BUSINESSWOMAN/SEAMAN’S WIFE SHOT DEAD. Melaurie Pagunsan, 48 years old, was shot dead at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 while about to open her new store at Brgy. 2 in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. Municipal police chief Hancel Lumandaz said Pagunsan sustained multiple gunshot wounds, adding that the two suspects fled on board a motorcycle.
