‘Libre Sakay’ for Frontliners, Essential Service Workers in Bacolod Goes On
The City Government is implementing a “Libre Sakay” program for medical and essential services workers, to address the suspension of public transport in Bacolod City, as it has been placed under MECQ from Sept. 8 to 30.
A total of 48 jeepneys are plying the City with seven point-to-point routes from seven barangays, and with central drop-off area at the Bacolod Public Plaza.
There are 10 departure times from each take-off point, starting from 4:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with a two-hour interval each, according to the City PIO.*
