CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON AUGUST 15

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on August 15, Saturday. This is to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: August 15, 2020 – Saturday
Reasons:
• Opening and closing of 69kV airbreak switch at Abkasa;
• Correction of hot spot of 69kV primary metering surge arrester;
• Preventive maintenance schedule of 20MVA power transformer and repair hot spot at Mt. View substation, Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City;
• Replacement of rotten poles and line clearing covering MF1 to MF3.

Time: 7am to 9am and 4pm to 5pm
Areas Affected: MF4 Bata Subd. including Gold Crest Subd., and Octagon Village (Talisay), whole of Mt. View Subd. including Porferia Subd., Sta. Clara Phase I, Villa Valderrama Subd., Sto. Rosario, Lacson St. (from Lopue’s Mandalagan to Bangga Pepsi), Mandalagan Highway, Circumferential Road, Federal Johnson Iron Works to Marapara Heights Subd., Bacolod Golf & Country Club, Montebello Subd., The Ruins, Theresa Dev’t. Corp. Subd. MF5 Robinson’s Commercial Complex

Areas Affected: MF1 Lopue’s Mandalagan, Bangga Subay, Portion of Sta. Clara I (Back of Lopues), Mandalagan Highway (from corner Lacson and Mt. View Road to North Drive), 25th, 26th, 27th St, Convergys and Carmelite Monastery, Sunny Ville, Bombo Radyo. MF2 Magdalene Ville, La Salle Avenue, University of St. La Salle, portion of C.L. Montelibano up to Mormons including Villa Ramos Subd., St. Scholastica’s Academy, Tierra Minerva,Capitolville Subd., Eroreco, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Mission Viejo Subd., Villa Georgina Subd. , Medical Specialist, St. John’s Activity Center, Doctor’s Hospital, Triangle Plaza, Santorini Subd., Prk. Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
